A specialized team built for scaling modern beauty, wellness & lifestyle brands.

Our Story

Meet Nate and Robyn Kelly, Co-Founders of SWTCH HOUSE VENTURES.

We're entrepreneurs who have built businesses, sold businesses, and navigated failure firsthand. That lived experience shapes everything about how we run this agency.

We understand the pressure behind every decision: cash flow, margins, inventory, growth targets, and trust. We know what it feels like to hand over your acquisition engine and hard-earned marketing dollars, because we've been on the other side of that decision ourselves.

Here’s Our Story & Why We’re Here:

Here’s Robyn & Nate launched SWTCH HOUSE together in January 2020. Robyn had been running a boutique social media agency since 2015, and one of her first clients was a skincare clinic that threw her headfirst into the world of beauty and wellness. It never let her go.

In 2018, at 27, Nate sold the home services business he'd built from the ground up at 20, and almost immediately began conceptualizing his next venture. In 2019, Robyn asked him to join the agency to run operations and help build out a stronger team.

Shortly after they launched together, the pandemic hit. They were well-positioned and spent the next three years helping businesses become more visible online. In 2021, Nate launched his own DTC personal care brand alongside the agency work. In 2023, he closed it… not because of the product, but because of a bad partnership. That experience lives in every client relationship they build today. Alignment and trust aren't just values here. They're non-negotiable.

In late 2022, they made a deliberate decision: go deeper, not wider. Performance-based paid media only for purpose-driven clean beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands that they genuinely believe in.

"When we align with a brand and truly believe in their purpose, we do our best work." — Nate & Robyn.

Meet Our Specialized Team

  • Alisa Kuzmina

    LEAD PERFORMANCE CREATIVE STRATEGIST

Alisa brings over a decade of brand and creative leadership to our team. And, an impressive track record that includes being part of the founding team that helped build and scale Spiritleaf from the ground up - contributing to its growth as Canada's largest recreational cannabis network and its $131M acquisition to SNDL Inc. She has since led creative strategy for U.S.-based DTC brands, building performance-driven creative testing frameworks designed for scalable customer acquisition.

At SWTCH HOUSE, Alisa leads performance creative strategy. She's the rare kind of creative who thinks in data, equally comfortable developing a campaign concept as she is pulling apart the numbers behind why it did or didn't work. She bridges the gap between brand integrity and what actually converts, ensuring our creative isn't just beautiful, but built to perform.

  • Jay Tahiri

    SENIOR MEDIA BUYER

Jay has 12 years in digital marketing and knows Meta advertising at a depth most media buyers never reach. Before joining SWTCH HOUSE, he founded and scaled his own DTC brand to seven figures, which means he's been in the trenches of scaling.

That founder experience shapes everything about how he buys media. Jay thinks in margins, not just metrics. He understands offer architecture, conversion rate optimization, and brand messaging - not as add-ons, but as levers that directly affect whether a campaign scales or stalls.

But what sets Jay apart is that he doesn't just stay in his lane when he sees an opportunity. When Sḵwálwen Botanicals was preparing to launch their SPF, Jay built out the full email launch strategy from a high level, handed it to the team and told them to make it their own. The result was their biggest product launch, their highest single sales day, and their highest revenue month ever.

He's not just running ads. He's the kind of person who makes the whole strategy better.

  • Sarah Cardoso de Sousa

    CREATIVE STRATEGIST & MEDIA BUYER

Sarah's career was built inside founder-led DTC brands, where fast-moving environments taught her to adapt quickly, think strategically, and solve problems from every angle. Working closely with growing brands gave her a deep understanding of what it takes to turn great products into sustainable growth.

What makes Sarah unique is her ability to bridge creativity and performance. She approaches media buying through the lens of a creative strategist, looking beyond campaign metrics to understand the story being told, the hook that captures attention, and the message that ultimately drives action.

Known for her curiosity and attention to detail, Sarah leaves no stone unturned. She's naturally inquisitive, relentlessly thorough, and committed to uncovering the root cause of every challenge. That mindset shapes every decision she makes, from campaign structure and budget allocation to creative testing and optimization.

At SWTCH HOUSE, Sarah combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to help brands uncover opportunities, improve performance, and continue scaling with confidence.

  • Robyn Kelly

    CO-FOUNDER + HEAD OF PERFORMANCE

Robyn didn't come up through marketing. She came up through business.

For nine years, she was employee #13 at a tech startup. She started as a sales assistant and worked her way to Distribution Key Account Manager, wearing every hat in between, learning the inner workings of the business. She was often the only woman in the room and never let that slow her down.

When the company sold for $75M, Robyn took her shares and bet on herself. She launched a social media marketing agency in 2015 and won Young Entrepreneur Award through her local Chamber of Commerce within the first 18 months. That agency has since evolved in to what SWTCH HOUSE is today.

Entrepreneurship wasn't a pivot for Robyn either. It was something she grew up watching. Her mother built her own business. Her father quit his job to support it. She understood early on what it actually costs to bet on yourself.

At SWTCH HOUSE, Robyn sets the strategic direction, develops campaign concepts, and keeps a close eye on the metrics that matter.

  • Dia Berghouti

    SENIOR PAID MEDIA ADVISOR

Dia leads a paid media team for one of Montreal's top agencies, managing large-scale, multi-channel accounts at a level most boutique agencies never access. As our Senior Advisor, Dia keeps our team sharp. He challenges our thinking, ensures we're ahead of platform shifts, and brings enterprise-level knowledge to every strategy we build.

Just over a year ago, Nate set out to find a top level advisor for our team. He found Dia. Robyn likes to call him our "Secret Weapon."

  • Nate Kelly

    CO-FOUNDER & HEAD OF GROWTH

Nate is the kind of person who makes you believe something is possible before you've figured out how to get there. Not because he overpromises, but because he's already done the hard parts and he would do them again.

He built his first business at 20, won local awards throughout the seven years he ran it, and successfully sold it within six months of listing it, walking away at age 27. He knows what it takes to build something from nothing, and he knows what it feels like when it doesn't work out. He spent years paying off the debt from a failed DTC brand venture while quietly conceptualizing his next one. That experience lives in how he shows up for every client.

Nate is a calculated risk-taker and an extremely discipline, motivated human being. If you asked him what he does for fun, he would tell you running marathons.

He is someone who leads by action and earns trust by example. He doesn't shy away from hard conversations or hard decisions, and neither does the team he's built around him.

At SWTCH HOUSE, Nate leads growth. He's the one who sits down with founders, digs into their goals and their vision, and builds the strategic plan to get them there. He believes scaling a brand takes knowledge, passion, clarity, and the humility to surround yourself with people who are smarter and more experienced than you in the ways that matter.

That belief is why he built the team he did.
