CASE STUDY: How SWTCH HOUSE Elevated Elate’s Meta Performance with Intentional, Steady Growth

At SWTCH HOUSE, we believe long-term growth is built on intention, not urgency. It’s why we prioritize strategy over stunts, amplifying what makes a brand meaningful, and scaling performance without compromising values.

Elate Cosmetics, a conscious beauty brand with deep roots in sustainability and inclusivity, partnered with us back in November 2025. We spent the first 60 days optimizing and cleaning up the ad account while still generating revenue at a positive ROI. As we rolled into Q1 and Q2, we wanted to continue enhancing their Meta performance and start scaling.

The goal: drive efficient, on-brand customer acquisition while maintaining strong DTC revenue contribution from paid media.

What We Set Out to Solve

Elate came to us with a challenge that spoke to our strengths: they had a clear sense of purpose, a thoughtful product line, and an audience that valued mindful consumption. What they needed was a more refined Meta strategy to increase reach and convert interest into intentional action, ie. , more new customers at a good ROAS.

Our priorities were to:

  • Grow the portion of DTC revenue attributed to Meta ads

  • Sustain or improve blended ROAS during scaling

  • Support a healthy AOV through clear and efficient funnel design

Our Approach

We crafted a performance strategy that respected Elate’s values while delivering measurable results. Our efforts focused on:

  • Purpose-led messaging: Creative that centered Elate’s refillable systems, inclusive shade ranges, and low-waste packaging.

  • Iterative creative testing: We identified standout performers and optimized variations to maintain relevance and engagement.

  • Adaptive budget pacing: We scaled media spend in sync with performance signals and seasonal shifts to ensure profitable momentum.

We also took a creative-forward approach to testing.

Top performers included:

  • A video ad from Q1 that drove the most sales at a 4x ROAS

  • A static ad that earned the highest ROAS of the quarter at 5.45x

  • Catalog campaigns in Q2 that averaged 4.14x ROAS

  • UGC Reels featuring the Spring Daydream Palette, which consistently hit 3.7 to 5.2x ROAS

  • A cold audience, evergreen ad featuring Mystic Bloom blush balm that became our top performer for acquiring new customers and has remained strong since May

Outcomes That Matter: The Results

During the first half of 2025, Elate experienced consistent, value-aligned growth:

  • A stable 3.07 blended ROAS created space for scalable investment without sacrificing efficiency

  • ROAS held strong into early Q3, with creative efficiency continuing to drive quality conversions across prospecting and retargeting.

Why This Work Resonates

In the clean beauty space, performance can’t come at the expense of principle. For Elate, success meant growth that honoured their mission. By leading with intention and aligning strategy with values, we helped extend their reach in a way that felt grounded and sustainable.

For beauty founders focused on impact as much as income, this kind of growth proves what’s possible.
